Magnolia Leaf Wreath
Change up your festive flair with a nature-inspired wreath. You will need a plain foam wreath and some magnolia branches which you can buy from the florist. To make the foam wreath a little more malleable, soak it in water for five minutes and set aside on a towel to drip dry for 2 minutes. Pick the magnolia leaves from the branch and put to one side. Select a bunch of the leaves and paint them silver or gold to add visual interest to the leafy wreath. Once the painted leaves are dry, push the stem of the leaves into the foam, following a directional pattern and mix up the colours to make it look appealing. Repeat this process until you can no longer see the white foam wreath underneath.
Cookie Cutter Wreath
This idea is super affordable! All you need is silver paper clips, red twist ties and 10 star shape cookie cutters (an array of different sizes if possible). Arrange the cookie cutters into a circular shape and clip the straight sides together with the silver clips. Flip the wreath over very carefully and secure the same spots with additional paper clips. Take the red ties and tightly twist them around the silver clip sections. Loop a piece of red, festive ribbon around the peak of the wreath, threading in a touch of evergreen sprig, and secure to the front door.
Bow Wreath
We saved the easiest one till last and it only takes about 30 minutes to complete! If you’re the type of person that saves the bows after unwrapping presents, then this front door wreath idea is perfect! If not, then you will need plenty of bows in a variety of colours and sizes. You will also need a hot glue gun and a foam wreath. Simply add a little dab of hot glue to the bottom of the bow and stick it to the wreath. Continue this process until the foam wreath is fully covered -voila! – your front door Christmas wreath is ready to be displayed outside your property.
