Custom Shapes for a Custom Closet

A custom closet with plenty of shelving, storage, and space is a dream for most homeowners. This project below made one homeowner’s dream closet a reality.

Forza Metals from Ontario, Canada had a project for a custom closet for a private residence. The homeowner wanted a clean, modern look using polished stainless steel shapes. To create what the homeowner had in mind, Forza needed custom stainless steel tees and angles with sharp corners and edges. So they reached out to Stainless Strcuturals to produce these shapes.

Custom Shapes Used for a Custom Closet

We used three special shapes out of 304/L stainless steel in this closet design. The first was a 1×1/4×1/8 custom stainless steel tee bar that was used for the floating shelves of the closet. Second was a 2x1x1/4 custom tee with an offset flange that lined the armoires openings to house lighting. Last was a 2x1x1/8 stainless steel angle that was the base trim for night tables. After production all of the shapes were sent to a metal polisher and polished to a reflective finish. All of these polished shapes combined with the craftsman work of Forza, created the ultimate, modern dream closet and so one very happy homeowner.
